Sharing My Career Journey

Becoming a design engineer was a wacky, wild adventure for me.

I didn't study CS or design at a fancy university, I didn't bag prestigious tech internships before finishing undergrad, I barely knew this career existed for most of my life.

My journey looked a lot more chaotic. I traversed a whole slew of vocational side quests before ever even stumbling upon the 'trailhead' for my current career.

At our recent GitHub Design Townhall, I got to share all my experiments and failures that led me to this point, which I'm excited to share with the world. It felt a bit surreal to recount my story with the GitHub team as my captive audience - a real 'full circle' experience. Enjoy the ride, and I hope it doesn't stress you out as much as it stressed me out living through it 😆
